Axis of evil, nuclear threat? Forget about it! There's only two things that can put all that nonsense away and thats skiing and snowboarding on fresh powder lines.
This is a documentary of skiing in the major mountains in Iran as well as a short section on the city of Tehran.
And comments would be great guys.

I think there are so many places to ski around the world that never get considered (Morocco, Lebanon, Turkey), I hope you have opened up some peoples eyes to what looks like like a wonderful country to ski in, you have certainly given me something to think about.

Pretty cool. Check out the current Google Earth images of Iran. Looks like you could almost take a bus to the north end of Teheran and start backcountry skiing from there - not to mention some 1000m lines on Damanvand in the summer.

There are quite a few Western travellers here already, Iran is very safe except eastern border areas. I have even met solo European women here (backpackers). There is really nothing to stop you visiting now. Irish are especially welcome.
