that's funny watching the video here..where he has all of those supporters walking with him in the streets and protesting in front of a military occupied base surrounded by tanks....looks to me quite the opposite of what you're saying,,,it appears that the Honduras people are mad about the militarist action

It's unfortunate that some of these went the way they did. That said it was infinitely better to them going communist (totalitarian). If that happens we wouldn't have gotten NAFTA and those extra X-mas presents, and those Latin American people would have suffered even worse under totalitarian communist states.
It's the Kirkpatrick Doctrine. Whenever you have to choose between authoritarian and totalitarian pick authoritarian. Reality justifies this as Castro was far worse than Pinochet.

Correction, stamping out terrorists is not the same as having a terrorist war. It is more like having a war on terrorists. Reagan stamped out communist terrorists in Latin America, and he did a good job of it. They still haven't fully returned.

Only 28% of Hondurans want Zelaya to return. So much for hiding behind the "democracy" mask.

I've got an idea. Let's coup all the member states of ALBA! Ecuador, Bolivia and especially Venezuala. Perhaps then we won't have to put up with this commie crap down there. I think both neoconservative and Randian intellectuals agree we need a 500lb gorilla to protect our rights here.

Why the hell does the media keep calling this a coup? It was not a coup, it was an arrest ordered by the supreme court. No different to the US supreme court issuing an arrest warrant for Obama because he has broken Constitutional law as ruled by that court. The police, FBI or whoever the court gave the arrest warrant to wouldn't be staging a coup, the would be following a lawful order. The President of Honduras did exactly that, and the he was arrested as he should of been.
