If it was my band, i would keep sammy because he can sing and play the guitar, hes much more useful, however than being said David has superior vocals by far, sammy cant hit any of the highs that roth can.... straight up facts... sammy couldnt do "jump" its just not the same man

Okay you know how many tours they wouldve not done without sammy in the 80s? I dont see you singing with van halen,makes more sense having sammy up their than not to do tours at all. Yes david lee roth and sammy hagar both sound different but hey at least they suited the style of the band. You cant be a true van halen fan if you dont like sammy hagar at all o at least give hie credit for being with van halen and giving his effort to do lead vocals for the greatest guitarist ever to exist...

Man, he would fail so bad cause he`ll never bee able to do Hagars vocal-lines.
DLR may have been a good frontman in the 70s and 80s but these days are long gone.
