I want to buy a soundcard but I don't know which one I should get, the X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Pro or the X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatality Sound Card, they are both the same price! I thought of buying the Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatality because I've read better comments about it, but on the other hand the Creative Labs SB X-FI Titanium Fatal1ty Pro is newer and I think should have better technology. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME MAKE UP MY MIND WHICH CARD I SHOULD GET! THANK YOU

i have logitech z4 speakers and i want to get the best out of my gaming. I'm playing racing games with my new Logitech G25 which should be the best you can buy recently. I'm about to buy this Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro set and i was wondering if it really would change anything? My current SigMaTel sound card sucks and i hate it. I hear the crackling sound in 2 of my racing games which i hate!

50% of what they say is lies. iv had this and the titaniam and fatality card. there not bad but for gamers the real thing to go for is the razer barracuda 7.1 ( 7.1 there a 5.1 aswell ) and its crystal clear quality but creative not as good. creative are good for music. but when it comes to gaming , razer are pro. with the razer barracuda headset and the sound card ( make sure you got them seperate. in a single package the soundcard is 5.1) its the best for crystal clear gaming.hope i helped, Gl

ive spent close to 2 grand on a sli rig. my 780i's on board sound sucks. i did get a Xtreme Gamer Fatality card but i bought the one for pci x-1. the one called titanium wont fit in my slot. i guess ill be ordering this one. i need to sell the titanium fatal1ty.

Hey guys, if you want this card but don't want to spend $180 or whatever, I got one for $39 from ebay.
It's not the EXACT model for the fatality version, but it's 99% the same. The model number is SB0770. Look it up and you'll be surprised to see how little you can spend to make your media experiences jump out at you like a movie theater.
The odd thing is that this model actually has MORE features in a way because it has an optical in and out port on the back.
I just installed it and love it!

I don't know much about audio creation, but you should get a card made for the job instead of a gaming sound card.
