you have got to be kidding. first, that had to be a 300 lb fish if not bigger. i have caught plenty of marlin, and that was a nice one, second, putting that fish in the boat alive is just stupid. they are very dangerous fish. and finally they are just too majestic to take any chance of hurting them. release them asap, it was a catch (the leader was in the tip of the rod) and you cannot get the exact weight in a rocking boat, nor do boats carry scales of that size.
