In this OLD TV SHOW "At Issue" (from The National Endowment For Liberty), Ron Paul is joined by a panel of experts to discuss the power of the jury and to expose the Judge's dirty little secret.
"Jury Nullification" is the power of the Jury to overturn bad laws (of which, we have MANY). It is an important tool guaranteed to citizens serving on jury duty. Jury nullification enables us to declare laws unjust, if we are so inclined.
Most Judges do not want you to know about this power. Juries are only told they can rule "guilty" or "not guilty." They are never told of their third option, "the law is bad."
Shame on bad Judges covering up this power and the corrupt system which allow these arrogant Judges to remain on the bench.
Learn your rights and DO NOT try to get out of jury duty.
As citizens we only have two real powers to keep the Gov't in check:
1) The power to vote
2) The power of the jury

I'm a big supporter of Ron Paul, but I didn't and won't vote there. That just makes it obvious that a bunch of people not from Iowa are voting on a site that they've probably never even been to before. It serves no useful purpose.

Judge I protested & put me in Jail 24hrs contempt charge signed a warrant for the corrupt HopkintonRI police Chief John Scuncio, town attyScott Levesque,town mgr Bill DiLiebro.The public defender Dan Ciara is incompetent ! Sadly in some states now you do NOT have this right. They have worked hard to eliminate this citizen freedom. I would recommend that everyone check their state's law regarding this aspect of juries.

I was at the TEXAS Straw poll today (9/1/07) and paid 100 Dollars for two tickets to SUPPORT RON PAUL. When we arrived we were not allowed in. It will be on YouTube later this week. The Ft Worth Police even threaten to "Take Action" against my wife for asking for a refund if they were not going to let us in. The GOP first fixed it by only allowing elected officials and delegates to vote then when they saw RON PAUL had 10X the support there they closed the polls early.

They had alot of experience dealing with tyranny. Ron Paul says in one of his speaches, "freedom is new, tyranny is ancient". We all have plenty of history recent and ancient to learn from.

This video is AWESOME! I have served on juries and have been selected several times and it was not until I got the "Citizen's guide book" did I understand the full power and reason for a jury of your "peers". So, SO important! Thanks for posting this - Go Ron Paul!

I was recently on jury duty, and tried explaining that I would not uphold the law that the judge tells us by means of jury veto---the lawyers just laughed at me, and dismissed me from the case.
