*UPDATE* I got a full refund today (9/4) and I get to keep it
I bought this for $110 off of ebay. And what do I get? This FAKE piece of JUNK. It's not even 16GB (as you can see in the video), it's only 8GB reformatted to look like 16GB. A REAL 16GB Sony memory stick pro duo would top at 14.9GB not 15.4GB. Anyway here are some symptoms I have experienced with this card:
*Inability to exceed at least 7.5 GB worth of space without problems such as corrupted data forming onto my PSP that I can not remove unless I format the entire card over and over again.
*Lost of data due to fake memory source. Inability to save PSP game files to memory for it is fake.
*Inability to save PSP game files to memory stick because it's fake.
I hope this video helps people out when they consider buying memory off of ebay. Here are some other facts:
*Genuine SONY will display as MagicGate Supported. If you see Unknown or Unsupported then you know you have a FAKE Sony!
*Most fakes have HALF or less than half of the usable capacity from the stated capacity.
*FAKE Sony have easily identifiable FALSE Sony part numbers with extra letter T.

Other things I noticed:
*Fakes have "bubble-ish" type lettering and shinier text
*Fakes feel slightly lighter than real

Well, check they're warranty policy to see if they offer refunds within a certain amount of time or ask the person for a refund anyway. If they don't want to give it to you, file a complaint with paypal (if you payed for it with paypal).

perfect0000000000 on ebay is the same one that just riped me off, I sent her an email just an hour ago, I might try to do the clam thing, but I did manage to re-format the disk. mine was originally a 4gig card so i just simply reformated it to FAT filing system through disk management utility, because if you try useing the my computer it will try to format it as FAT32 and it does not work. right click my computer click MANAGE, then find DISK MANAGEMENT format it to FAT i now have 3.39 gigs

Mine really isn't any more than 1.5 gb. it's ridiculous. I want my fucking money back. I waited 3 weeks for this shit, even over xmas. hell that bitch wished me a happy new year when i emailed her making sure they mailed the damn thing! fuck hong kong

that bullshit perfect00000 or jasmine wasnt on ebay anymore.. she respond on paypal claim that i need to send the item back with the shipping on my expense.. i dont want to do the same mistake again by sending it back coz whats the point i need a refund,, that memory stick goes straight to trash now.. now im not sure if i still can get the refund or paypal will cancel it if i dont send a tracking number if im going to send it back... fuck you perfectjasmine.. go to hell..!!!

perfectjasmine is perfect00000000 he changed his ebay name. i have emailed him several times and still no response he as of this evening is no longer an ebay member, so i file a clam with papal and they say he requests the card back. it cost 27 dollars to send it back to hong kong. and its worthless, the firmware inside the card is incorrect no amount of formatting will fix this. all data after a cretin point will. be couroupt

Also I thought I should mention I've been looking around online about this and I've found that you need the item id MS-MT16G for the 16gb otherwise it's fake. MS-MT16G is the only real 16gb from what I've read. So if any of you are looking to find a real one, look that one up.

fuck all companies/logos. Now lets talk stats that matter. What class rank of sdhc does the psp accept? Would a class 6 be high enough write speed? All SDHC use sequential read/write correct?
