Look, this is a very weak example of Bachata. It is what it is. I have many good Mexican friends so I do not wish to insult them when I say, his dance looks Mexican; as in a bit of Quebradita, and some Cumbia (Mex.style) mixed in there. Besides anyone who dances bachata knows the footwork is off and they couldn't express the music because of the poor technical execution. I did not say they can't dance - I simply say it ain't Bachata!

Go to my page and there are some EXCELLENT examples ranging from the simple to the more complicated. By the way, one of the best dancers I've seen on youtube is Honduran. It's not about being Dominican, it's about knowing how to dance what you say you're dancing.

Too many ridiculous and corny tricks, your legs are spread out too far and you aren't moving your hips or using the skip properly. The girl looks like she's on a ferris wheel and about to fall off. This is a very good example of the way young people born in the states who have never been to the nitty gritty campos in Dominican Republic or similar countries where bachata is very popular THINK bachata should be danced.
