New subwoofer

Descripción del video:
This is my new subwoofer I just added to my previous setup... A Alpine CDE-9852 and a Pioneer EQ-6500 (they will be replaced by a single Pioneer DEH-P880PRS headunit soon), Type-Rs in the front amplified by an old alpine Flex5. Now I have a V12 alpine amplifier (500w rms) to drive a single 12" TypeR sub. I changed the wires to 4awg and I did the Big three with those wires.
BTW everything in this video was just for showoff purpose, I never listen to music that loud and my setup is based on SQ and not stupid SPL that makes rattle every part of the vehicle.

Update: I don't have the sub anymore... hell I don't even own that car anymore!

2 times as loud
trust me you will be very happy if you port it
im not kidding
im giving it 1024 RMS at wired at 4 ohms, i could give it even more with a 1 ohm stable amp and wire it down to 1 ohm, and it pounds so much deeper and cleaner in a ported box dude, the amp is over 2k peak :D
mine is almost tuned perfect
but i could get it louder in a better ported box
but need to save up to get a custom one
if you get a box i would try to buy a custom one or build one thats around 33-35 hz, wil absolutly pound! you will love
mine is actaully clean power, no clipping at all. I have seen 10" typer's take 1500 rms before...
cheers
