Instructed by Thomas Grillo on Moog Etherwave Pro theremin.
This is not a substitute for professional how to play videos, books, or in-person instruction with a professional instructor.
This video would not have been possible without the invaluable professional training videos, books, and workshops produced by Peter Pringle, Carolina Eyck, Pamelia Kurstin, and Lydia Kavina. All of their methods have been, and are still being studied by me.

But, it's a very rewarding instrument, once it's mastered.
It nearly went into oblivion back in the 60, and 70s, but it's enjoying a comeback in many genres of music, and many forms of entertainment.
I wouldn't mind playing around with this, it sounds amazing.
You can get theremins at soundslikeburns on the web. Also at moogmusic, and wavefront.
Etherwave Standards are $400 from moogmusic.
B3s cost between $152 and $350 depending on model.
Wavefront theremins cost between 800, and 1800 dollars depending on model.
A discontinued walnut finnished Etherwave Pro went for about 7 grand. Only 80 of these were made, over 1200 black backed Pros were made.
RCA theremins fetch well over 10 grand. Only 500 were made, and less than a third still work.
This is mainly due to how rare they are, and the condition they're in.
