First of all, i've never said that Chile is an European country... it's a SOUTHAMERICAN country (isn't obvious?). Second, i'm not really into football so i don't care "how they look". Why would UNAM be false?? How would u know?? And there are international professors and they are not somekind of youtube trolls. Chile was a Spanish colonial territory, is this false info for u?

I'm actually from Chile and we call it "italiano". It really depends on the place you go eat them, but they're generally pretty good. If you like hot dogs, I'm sure you'll like the Italianos too.
IMHO, the best ones are from the "Domino's" fast food restaurant chain. If you go to Chile, don't forget to check 'em out; Andrew Zimmern from Bizarre Foods approved of them when he came to Chile, after all. =)

El "italiano" no lleva chucrut ni salsa americana. Es solamente la salchicha con tomates, mayonesa y palta (los 3 colores de la bandera). El que muestran es el clásico completo. The "Italian" hot dog does not have sauerkraut or chopped pickles on it. The one they show here is the traditional "completo".
