wow that is pretty amazing. I actually just finished my own video about subliminal messaging. If any of you guys have a chance, check it out please.
Can't believe how ... ( 1 semana por intersheet)
Can't believe how many people actually believe this is real. Such nonesense. Of course subliminal advertising has some effect, but this was way over the top. I am certain that all of this was staged. A few years ago I might have believed this, but after being exposed to so many fake media sensations and after developing a healthy skepticism towards the unusual and hard-to-believe that makes you question things, I simply cannot believe people actually fall for this.
It is similar to ... ( 1 semana por intersheet)
It is similar to conspiracy theories. I know from experience that when people watch something like "Zeitgeist" or "Loose Change" for the first time, they tend to believe that a conspiracy actually exists and only later you realize how easy it is to get a flawed point across if only you wrap it right and back it up with (what appears to be) facts. Now, I have studied marketing (including consumer behavior) among other things and I know that messages can be conveyed subliminally, but only to a...

certain degree. What they pull of here is way out of proportion. If you are reasonable enough you will have recognized how in the end, when they show all the lables they placed on the way, most of them were not even facing the two guys and where captured for the camera only (the paper in the beginning, the imprints on the tshirts,...) and others, like the harp in the window, were just completely ridiculous. How many images do you think they have seen on their ride? among thousands, there was...
...one harp that ... ( 1 semana por intersheet)
...one harp that eventually both the two guys and also the host had on their picture. This whole thing is a scam and they try to make it appear reasonable by filming 5 or 6 posters that have been placed on the way, as if those were the only things they have seen? for some reason only they made it to the final draft and the host used exactly the same ones in his picture? come on! There is no way they could have assured that on a lets say 15 minutes ride, of all the things they see, these posters
are the only ones ... ( 1 semana por intersheet)
are the only ones that leave an imprint in their memories? Even if these two guys were not just playing along the script (which they sure as hell were), it would be IMPOSSIBLE to unconsciously influence them in such a way that they would eventually use EXACTLY the visuals that they were supposed to, not even if they bombarded them with the according images for weeks in advance. no way. A video for those who are avid followers of the belief that the (capitalistic) "system" is brainwashing us.

That guy isn't a host, it's Derren Brown and he has very good reasons for not doing scams. He says why in his book. He's very good at what he does and I've gained a healthy respect for his work, enough to allow small doubts on these matters to pass. If you'd like to do some actual research before you try to debunk this, though, then go ahead. I'd be open to any evidence you have.
That you read his ... ( 1 semana por intersheet)
That you read his book only shows that you believe whatever he says. There are many books that appear to be reasonable but are made up or completely biased cause they take facts out of the context. Some people actually believe in Dan Brown's "findings". Just read all I wrote and if you are a reasonable person you will find that my criticism is quite justified. It is he who has to prove that what he's showing wasn't staged. "Proof" like the envelope thing obviously doesn't qualify as such.

I have problems believing that (the way you expressed it anyways) but thats unimportant here. All that matters is that you actually corroborated my argument. Thats exactly what Im saying. They consume SO MUCH information on the way that it is completely impossible for anyone to predict exactly what they are going to come up with by planting a couple of posters among THOUSANDS of others on the streets, no way.

to be cynical of what derren is showing is being cynical of the power of the human mind. people dont like to believe theyre not in control of the decisions they make, so choose not to believe this is real.

Derren is an accomplished performer but ALL his tricks involve old, well-known magic tricks, enhanced by selective editing of videos. His explanations usually are part of the deception. He exploits the gullibility of his victims, and of the YouTube audience. Pure voyeurism and Big Brother exhibitionism. None of his tricks involve subliminal suggestion, photo-reading, or NLP. Lately, he tries to reposition himself as an enlightened sceptic. Too late and too little. Derren Brown is a kvetch.
