The dog died of cancer just a few weeks after filming of the second season wrapped up. He was still alive the day they took promotional photos but died shortly after that. If you google Gary Russell (Dick) you can come across a text that he wrote for the Enid Blyton Foundation in which he writes about his memories of filming the series.

i have a lot of novel collection by enyd blyton such as the famous five,malory towers,etc..and in indonesia drama series of famous five is very famous in the early 80's..i miss the drama..

I read some of the fab five collections at a book store yesterday for nostalgia,one of them was with a character Jo which used to be my favourite. Due to the childhood memory, I search the movie on youtube and thanks for whom uploaded them, I found it.

This video doesn't contain an actual story starting line up (In the Begining), because it shows as Georgina doesn't know their Cousins same as like Famous Five On Treasure Island but in book of Famous Five on Kirrin Island it shows that Georgina knows their Cousins very well which is correct indeed.
