I take it you're one of the people who paid money to learn the BS dance West Coast call Bachata and now your trying to justify your dance. Or better yet after seeing how it's done, you realize it requires more skill than you thought. So instead of embracing the true form of the dance... not all Dominicans dance like them, they have their OWN style but their movement, footwork and their ability to stay in tune and interpret the music through their dance is still BACHATA. Get your money back!

No, you're sadly mistaken. I don't dance AT ALL. I've seen all forms and comments are left on all videos that "THAT IS REAL BACHATA." Everyone will always argue otherwise and it will go back and forth. I say, ENJOY YOURSELVES & HAVE FUN. That's what it's about.

if you were a Dancer, you would know that taking music and dancing a Quebradita/pasito Duranguese you ain't fooled nobody but a Mexican (not meant as an insult), because they are the ones who are familiar and enjoy those types of moves and dances... but you still ain't dancing bachata. Like Obama said "a pig with lipstick" is still "a pig". Quebradita dancing to Bachata music is still Quebradita. This video is a great example of Bachata dancing.. although their style is not how everyone dances.

Like I said, I'm not a dancer, but when I try, I like to have fun with it and not have 'ignorantes' pick it apart just because it's not 'their' idea of real bachata. I love the way this couple dances and I NEVER said otherwise nor did I say it was Quebradita. Why did you get on the offensive with my first comment? It was never even directed to you. People are always saying how they know the REAL WAY IT'S DONE and putting people down when all they want to do is dance and have a good time.
