These days Gina is best-known as Jane in the sitcom "Coupling", and recently seen as James Nesbitt's wife in "Jekyll", but she made a memorable debut here!

Bloody hell, my brother and I saw that when it first on TV didn't realise it was that long ago. Never been able to see since and I'd really liked to know what the hell was going on. All I can remember is everyone trying to bed 'Blackeyes'.

I remember this series as, hmm... formative. It is one of the great lies of our modern age: that art cannot be stimulation, and that all stimulation involves exploitation (but exploitation of what- the fact that men are obsessed with women and vice versa!!!). This is one of the paradoxically puritanical consequences of liberalism. Same old British repression, which Potter courageously laid bare (pun!).
