i would have the same themes wheter i was playing glam metal or brutal death metal.
ill have the same themes regardless of what metal i play.
but i want to make a living off of it so i will choose a STYLE of metal that will be most
profitable. i will convey the same message no matter what.
You should play what you want, not the genre that is "in" now.
I too, want to live from music. But you'll never get 5626446 dollars or something - I just want to pay my apartment and my equipment and that's it. No need for extra cash.
Btw, playing underground music could eventually lead to a breakthrough of that genre, just what I will try to with Thrash : D
i want to be like a mix of slayer and children of bodom.
i also have a fuckload of influences from black metal, glam metal and heavy/thrash metal.
id also like a few sideprojects so......
i told you what kind of metal im doing.
Good luck with your glam/thrash/black metal band though. Oh and ofcourse children of bodom influences. rofl
Sacred Reich sounds as good to me as it did about 20 years ago when I was still young. Nice to hear this song again.
