Anyone familiar with Kelsey Briggs story knows of the animosity between her two families.
The paternal side,The Brigg's,and the maternal side,The Smith's.
The non-stop lies,and fighting is senseless,and it only hurts everyone involved.
It is disrespectful to Kelsey and her precious memory.
Kelsey Brigg's should not be remembered as the story of a little girl who was born into two families who can't get along.
That observation is missing the real issues at the heart of this case,which is
Child Abuse and the failure of the laws and services to protect the most innocent victims,the children.
Anyone who makes this story out to be about a mere custody battle has an agenda and is tampering with the truth.
I wrote this poem through the innocence of how Kelsey may see things.
In the hour leading up to Kelsey's murder on the afternoon of October 11,2005 only two people had contact with Kelsey,her mother Raye Dawn Smith,and her Stepfather Michael Lee Porter.
To this day,they both blame one another for Kelsey's death.
They were both convicted of enabling child abuse.
No one was ever convicted of Kelsey's murder.
One day the whole truth will come out.
Kelsey deserves Justice and until the one/ones responsible for Kelsey's death confesses,we will just have to wait.
No doubt one day Kelsey will get the justice she deserves from the ultimate Judge,God.
Kelsey is with the Lord now and she is safe in his loving arms.

FYI there was/is conflicting reports regarding possible sexual abuse.
Watch the news reports that state the official documents regarding that.
Where is official documentation of child porn on the computer?
That is hearsay if it has not been comfirmed.
Her father was in the military and how dare you blame him for what happened to Kelsey.
Get a Clue, and do some research.

Third you should really go to the other videos out there that are disrespecting sweet little Kelsey by claiming she was never abused and trying to free the mother who helped in failing her.
Fourth all my videos Focus on Kelsey the true victim, I do not exploit her for one woman's gain like the others.
You keep your head up and follow the truth wherever it may lead you friend.

Kelsey's mothers supporters have cursed me, insulted me, lied about me, put my picture in their video in a cow pasture, you name it.
They claim Kelsey is being exploited.
Kelsey has brought positive change to the lives of many and she is loved the world over.
The only ones who are exploiting Kelsey are the ones who are using her as a symbol to Free her mother.
Kelsey's cousin Eryn's last name isn't even Brigg's.
Please go elsewhere if you are going to continue to disrespect Kelsey.
If you continue I will block you.
Your videos are beautiful. You're keeping Kelsey's memory alive and with her face never forgotten maybe that will be one less child that we lose to abuse.
Even if people harass you don't ever stop.

Anyway, AMAZING VID! It gave me chills and made me cry! It's so sad to think of someone doing that to a child. Especially because I've got a 2 year old niece that looks an awful lot like Kelsey.
she opened my eyes +& let me see all the children that are being hurt.
She really is a hero to so many, including me.
May she look over those young children that are getting hurt +& save them

As for this poor babys mother n Stepfather (and i use them terms very loosely) they should have been given a lethal injection, They may be locked up behind bars but why should they still be able to breath the air that decent loving people do, When they have taken away somebody so innocent and beautiful who was loved by so many
