This is the return of the aircraft B737-200 reg. HR-SHO from SAHSA airlines in july/15/1993 at Toncontin Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. After flight test of the first and the only "D" check carry out by SAHSA´s maintenance personnel in Honduras.

I live in the USA, but was born in Honduras, I used to fly TAN/SAHSA. But, my stuff from my luggage were stolen. I filed a claim and they said that they could not reimburse me. I swore at them, and said one day you are going to go out of business and I will think of all of you and laugh and enjoy it. Every time I see an American, Continental and even TACA I remember the employees of TAN/SAHSA and SMILE. They would still be in business if they weren't so corrupt.

Qué recuerdos y qué nostalgia invade el alma, al ver esas naves que ya no son más que un recuerdo. Qué PILOTOS los nuestros!!!!. Estuve en el curso para aeromozas en 1986. Sosita que en paz descanse era un "caracter". El Tte. Cnel. Soto era el Gerente en ese tiempo. Ambos están ya con Dios. Qué recuerdos, amigos... sólo quedan esas tomas y la nostalgia....

Four months ago, I criticized Honduras for being so corrupt (check the post). A lot of people didn't like my comment, but it's the truth. Now, a jet crashed because the runway is too short and unfortunately several people died. This accident should never have happened because everyone knows the runway isn't adequate to accomodate large jets. This happened because of corruption. Now these images are shown all over the world. I mentioned corruption so that other people would not be harmed.

its kind the same with me i was born in the states but i lived in teguz for 17 years and i have always been nervous during landings, i have always said that the airport should have been extended especially after the c 130 crash in 1997. it was practically the same, the plane cant stop and it slides of into the street. its a shame that such a beautiful city and country are tainted with negative comments because of this horrendous airport.

yo iva a el aeropuerto de nino solo para ver los aviones y desde alli me quice hacer flight attendant y saber de que ya hice realidad ese sueno, 7 anos en el aire! algun dia espero regresar de tripulante, espero que para taca aunque tenga que irme a vivir a el salvador, ser azafato es un sueno hecho realidad! paris..los angeles..buenos aires..san juan ...alemania..mexico city...rio...san pedro sula...miami! lo recomiendo a todo aque que lo quiera hacer

me acuerdo que uno de los ultimos aviones que operaba sahsa era un anarajado 737 que volo bastante tiempo sin que se pintara...yo pensaba que el accidente de el 89 era un md80...me acuerdo que tan tenia una pintura diferente de sasha...como cuantos aviones teniasn en total? que lindo que era ver aquellos aviones azules precisos y las viajas guaperrimas azafatas con sus pilotes, dicen que los pilotos se tomaban su cervecita en los aeropuertos .
