| this road is practically not used by cars anymore, it has been replaced for a few years by a new road that gets to the same place. it's mainly used for downhill mountain bikes now. |

| i used to use that road when it was the only road...and yes i was pretty much scary to look over the window...but is really fun to go Biking in this road , not so dangerus cause you dont get so in the side of the road..still i think some tourists died biking.. |

| So, what happens when two cars meet head on at one of the parts of the road that are only wide enough for one to pass? I'd hate to be the guy that has to drive in reverse on that vehicular tight-rope for several miles, never mind in a freaking bus. |

| oh come on, what is this competition about?? it shows the real problem: only one thing in one place, not in another. if you want to do something administrative, I mean anything, be prepared to travel to La Paz, so I mean the whole system is just bad... It is unfair for people, especially in a rather poor country!! |

| Thats correct, one of them have to put it in reverse and find a spot wide enought for both. Usually the one that goes up the hill have to move backwards. I've been there and its crazy cool. We race Rally National Championships too. How cool is that :) |

| Dude even if we had money, this is part of the culture and a attraction for turists. Right now there is a pavement road already. You see because we have that road, NatGeo makes a documentary about our road LOL :) |
