well you should have had ur whole team there idiot. i thought the world cup was important to you, but apparently your country doesnt care. rankings do mean something. can uraguay beat brazil or argentina? no! could fiji beat australia? no! and besides, we dont get the chance to play against south amercian teams, so theres nothing more we can do, except keep denying you places in world cups hahaha enjoy ur mediocre team!!

ok its official, ur an idiot. Firstly, the players missing were INJURED not disinterested. Secondly, rankings mean shit. The number one team should be the world champions. Is Italy number 1? NO. Can Uruguay beat Brazil? absolutely. Brazil has beaten Uruguay only once in the last 9 years. Can Uruguay beat Argentina, of course they can, we beat them in the last qualifiers. If the rankingsmean so much then the top 32 should go to a world cup without qualifiers.

hmmm....nope ur the idiot. if the players knew that a world cup qualifier were coming up, they would take it easy and either not play as hard or not play as much. its their own fault. also, im sure you didnt have 10 players missing, so if you can replace the missing players with competent subs then u deserve to lose, which you did! injuries can happen by simply jogging, jumping and landing wrong, someone kicking u....what do u want players to do? could have happened to australia. FIFA ranking mean nothing and everyone knows it but u. U get a plaque..big deal. Argentina has the plaque and what do they have to show for being number one? they have had a longer dry spell with trophies than Uruguay has! Well no aussies would watch the world cup if it were only top 32 becaue u have no chance of ever making it up there!

wow, what a good record. makes it all the more embarrasing that you couldnt beat us. ur country has been playing soccer for longer than australia, and as i said, its not our most popular sport, not even close!! yeah we "make up the numbers" but i will say its hard for u clowns to make up the numbers in a world cup if you dont even qualify! haha
of course ur country is more successful, its the only sport u have. we have a multitude of sports that are played at a pro level. uruguay stinks hahaha

Um Australia has been playing soccer internationals since 1910, uruguay since 1900. Not that big a difference. And as for losing a shootout, well that happens to anyone, its happened to Australia too. But the scores overall were 1-1, u didnt really beat us as such. Um we have also won olympic medals in basketball which is a global game unlike u. We also have made two rugby world cups with only 100 registered players in Uruguay. Not bad for a county of 3 million....cont
