people have been eating natural blood sausage for thousands of years, its the fast food generation that thinks if it doesnt come foil wrapped and soaked in preservatives that it's bad for you.
always wanted to try blood sausage and a couple of other things, but they're pretty hard to find dfor a decent price sometimes.

theliberator1- are you looking for it Puerto Rico or in continental US? In PR is very easy to find and at a good price. Even in Condado you can find it. Of course, not in the major supermarkets.

I would never go to Puerto Rico again. First off they lost my language then when they finally found my language which was after the hole curse was over all of my vitamins smelled like old piss. The Ricans where racist and rude I had way more fun in Mexico & Costa Rica & Miami when I kicked with the Cubans. I would advise Black Americans and Blacks from different counties to not even fool with Puerto Rico. I have Rican friends but I will never go to their county with them or without them.

I am from PR and the Guinea fowl is closely related to Pheasant (Faisán). The stew is only one plate since you could have it as Guinea-rice. Andrew had it the way it should be cooked, over wood stove. This is a delicacy everyone should try while visiting PR.
Blood sausage or Morcilla, is an excellent choice as well. The recipe is an adaptation from the Spanish conquerors traditional cuisine.

im from san lorenzo,pr and i love the food from my island blood sausage"morcilla"is delicious and salty you cant really taste the blood so please dont judge a book by its cover try it first.this type of food can be found all year long over there but mostly people eat it in christmas time and the parrandas"christmas parties" that goes from mid november until early days of january
