you´re lost man. the issue is way more complicated than you think. im not saying the us army couldn´t do the job. im saying that the mexican army can do it well. but the difference between iraq, afganistan and mexico is that those middle east countries have somehow respect for its people. in mexico if drug cartels feels they losing they start to kidnapp people. stole cars everything in order to get money. they just don´t give a fuck. this is complex and believe me it isn't a matter of 1 week

Actually most of the weapons do come from the US. I don't think the Mexican army has M16A4's, M4A1's or not even One Barret .50 Cal.
