At least 300 people have been killed in a massive fire at a prison in central Honduras, and the toll is expected to rise, officials say. Soldiers, police and anxious relatives surrounded the prison in Comayagua, about 75km north of the capital, Tegucigulpa, on Wednesday morning. Television images showed weeping relatives pressed against a chain link fence as they waited for news. The blaze, which broke out late on Tuesday, was one of the worst prison fires ever in Latin America, and local radio reports said many of the inmates were burned to death inside their cells. Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from Washington.

are always visiting jail? The same thing happens in El Salvador, there is always an old mother crying for his son. That shit does not happens in U.S.A. I would not care for someone in jail.
