Ha Ok, because the alternatives are on Youtube necessarily imply that they are true...just like the words of Tarpley right? anyway the fact that you shift on the "alternative to oil" exist on youtube tells me that you start to feel by yourself that this "peak oil is a fraud" becomes shaky. Msr Tarpley might be an erudit on geopolitics but he is an ignorant in matter of energy and geology and should better informs himself before asserting that peak oil is wrong and abiotic theory is right.

it is the scarcity of iol that determines our economy...our economy buys into scarcity...without the notion of scarcity it doesn't function.....even an illusion of scarcity allows a high price that then covers up many other things....youtube is about transparency and not hiding coming forth into the light and sharing with all the most precious think to share is knowledge

That's a new economic theory that I was not aware of, despite being quite well informed in general. Anyway , you say that you reject my notion of "limiting nature" but I haven't said anything about that so far. It is not because I brought up the fact that "peak oil is a proven fact and abiotic theory has proven to be wrong" that I support the notion of limiting nature in general. though there is limits to nature like there is limit to everything, only the reckless human nature is limitless

in your "conspiracy theory" frenesy you say "our economy doesn't function without the notion of scarcity" at 5$ a gallon oil is still cheaper than mineral water despite that you have to drill it in alasaka carry it over thousands of miles, refining it. I do not believe that nature came from God but the other way around.....I hve a deeper reverence for nature than you do.....I bleieve in abundance and love of nature and act accordingly...your position leads to eugenics..the culling of the race according to puny understandings of how nature work.
I believe what you put your attention on grows...if you want to look at nature's cruelty (a lion eats a lamb) it is there but there is all kinds of evidence that there is abundance

wether God created nature or nature created god is futile discussion for me since I am sraight atheist.
what you mean by "the evidence of abundance". if you look at living organisms wether they are plants or animals, the evolution has really tuned them for scarcity (fishes don't regulate their appetite cause food is extremely scarce in the marine environment) each specy is always on the verge of survival because of the scarcity of resources in nature, your theory sounds shaky again.

tarpley is right on with the dollar, but he is clueless to energy. this is an older video though. #1 and #2 oil producers have peaked. saudi arabia and russia. its real and its happening, manipulated or not. abundance or scarcity depends on your perspective. the fact that we have life and food is proof of abundance. however if we don't move towards a sustainable system, we will move into scarcity as our abundant energy enters into decline and/or we pollute our planet past its carrying capacity.

Around 19 minutes into this video, Webster Tarpley mentions an empirical survey done by Daniel Yergin (@19:35). That survey was done for the "oil cartel" and apparently concludes that theres plenty of oil left and that Peak Oil is just a fraud. Then, toward the end of the video (@27:10), Tarpley says that Peak Oil is all a fraud created BY the "oil cartel". Tarpley actually managed to contradict himself in a 20 minute video, proving that he doesnt know what hes talking about.

Actually oil companies tend to overstate their reserves to keep their share prices up. If it's a debate between an economist and a geologist, I'll listen to the geologist. Call me an idiot, but I'll believe Colin Campbell and Lafrerriere before I'll believe Tarpley. I'm open to revision if someone can serve me a better source.
