this guy is the best of us! i mean, he deserves every ounce of his fame and fortune! steve perry is brilliant in his own way and what he could personally do and if you think that pineda's joining in the journey is an insult in perry's name or you think that his performance falls short to perry's then please, just give him a break. certainly! it isnt his intention and look at the man, all he wants is to entertain and just live up to the expectation, trying so hard to take up what perry has left!

i appreciate this post of yours because that is exactly what pineda is trying to do, the man is just grateful that he was even considered for the gig. he commented that he really thought he blew his chance at one point and that if that was the case at least he'd have a video of JOURNEY for keepsake. very humble, non-assuming as per jonathan cain "he does not have the lead singer's disease." that's the reason why PINEDA got the gig. keep doing that arnel and you and JOURNEY will keep shining!
