LOL, bubble gum band. What exactly is Metallica then? I mean come on, people talk about DL being sellouts but Metallica is the definition of sellout. Besides drummer, DL has better musicians all around. I don't need to look at the chords to know that Def Leppard has more talented guitarist than Kirk Hammett of Metallica.

You fucking idiots who refer to Def Leppard as a "bubble gum band" must not know shit about music, they are one of the most accomplished bands in history, have sold more albums than Metallica and have released more singles. "Sellouts", Def Leppard are anything but! Better guitarists, better EVERYTHING than Metallica, and I LOVE Metallica!

You're right about that. People who refer to Def Leppard as "bubble gum pop" obviously don't know what the term means. I only listen to rock stations in my car. These stations don't play pop at all, but I hear Def Leppard all the time. Def Leppard is recognized all over the world as an accomplished rock band. They have been a major rock band for 30 yrs. They continue to play to sold out audiences all over the world. Saying they are "bubble gum pop" or "sellouts" is just plain ignorance.

Thank you, It really isn't just MY opinion that Def Leppard is one of the biggest bands in history, the album sales, sold out concerts, the fact that they are still TOGETHER after all they have endured and the fact that the TRUE fans like you and myself absolutely LOVE "em, pretty much speaks for itself.

I agree with you. I've been a Def Leppard fan for about 30 years, and I've listened to their music with a lot of different people. I've heard of people who don't particularly care for them, but I never heard anyone call Def Leppard's music "bubble gum pop" until I got on YT. Crazy!! What I find really interesting is that it's always a guy who is calling them "bubble gum pop" and sellouts. I've never read a comment posted by a female saying that. Odd, huh? Anyway, you're right. Def Leppard rocks!
