I'm looking for a good type of dance to use at my upcoming Homecoming. Would I be able to solo salsa dance if I learned to salsa dance? Salsa dancing seems like a dance where both people must know the steps. I want to learn to dance where either I can dance on my own, or my partner doesn't have to know the dance to get into it.

During the first breakdown after the opening basic turn, Melanie's footwork is misleading. Going into the first Copa, you can see her take 4 steps on her 1,2,3. This might be confusing for beginners. She does it correctly in the last example toward the end of the video.
